The electric vehicle (EV) market in India has grown rapidly in recent years. Tata Motors has more than 70% stake in the electric segment.
Tata Motors has dominated the segment with capable offerings such as Tiago.ev, Tigor.ev, and Nexon.ev. With the upcoming Harrier EV, it intends to increase its market share in the mid-size segment.
Tata Harrier EV Design
The overall body of the Tata Harrier EV is very similar to the Tata Harrier Diesel Model. In the front profile, it carries the same headlight design but gets a new LED light bar that spans the width of the SUV. There is also a new blanked-off grille and a redesigned front bumper with a fog light setup. There aren’t many changes in the profile, but it gets new ‘.EV’ badges on the fenders, flush door handles, and larger concept-like wheels.
The rear side will also get a redesigned bumper and stop lamp mount with a new connected LED tail light unit. The new side profile will be driven by sleek dual-tone aerodynamic alloy wheels, which will further enhance its road presence.

The luxurious interior of the Tata Harrier EV will include a 12.3-inch infotainment panel, dual-zone climate control, a multifunction steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, and a dual-tone dashboard.
Tata Harrier EV Safety features
The Tata Harrier EV is equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology. Advance safety features include blind-spot monitoring, collision avoidance, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic jam assist, and adaptive cruise control.
Tata Harrier EV Battery and Range
The range of the Tata Harrier EV will be about 500 kilometers on a single charge. Presently, the Long Battery Edition version of the Tata Nexion Electric achieves a 465 km range on a single charge. The Tata Harrier Electric will be able to accommodate both large and small battery packs because it will be constructed entirely on an electric platform.

The expected price of the Tata Harrier EV in the Indian market is 2.6 lakh rupees.

According to some reports, Tata Harrier EV is going to be launched by the end of 2024.
